Kindness + frameworks = success + happiness

Dear Friends,

Kindness-based frameworks to serve your audience better

I’ve been testing kindness-based frameworks on creator friends to help them serve their audiences better.

In my past life as a biotech marketing lead, we used “patient journey” frameworks to increase product sales. These were multi-million dollar campaigns involving myriad stakeholders and cross-functional partners. (Wow, and corporate speak!)

A lot of my noodlin’ these days is translating these corporate experiences into frameworks that can benefit creators. So instead of patients, let’s think about our audience journeys.

How this relates to kindness: many of us want to serve the world with our creator content. It would be even **kinder **if our audience understands the philosophical root of our mission, AND what exactly we are offering.

So in 45 minutes, we can go from this Twitter bio:

Much gratitude to for allowing me to share our session today! This offering and more to come will be built into Kind Camp.

My goal is to continue to add value to the membership, and I may be adjusting the pricing model accordingly. Please consider signing up now if you’d like to lock into the current pricing model.

Here’s a fun poll, inspired by —what should I call myself to make it clear to you and future audience what I am offering?

(Gently) grilling Vicky on frameworks

Vicky and I met through Write of Passage, and we took Rik van de Berge’s listening course together. She’s pretty famous on YouTube and has built a fantastic community for super-smart framework-oriented thinkers.

Here’s a ChatGPT-generated TLDW, but robots aren’t good at nuances so I recommend giving our video a listen (maybe do the dishes or laundry or something.)

Christin and Vicky introduce themselves as brand strategist and a YouTuber who runs a channel on clear thinking and communication through the use of frameworks and note-taking.

They discuss the benefits and drawbacks of using frameworks and how it can help reduce complexities by breaking things down into basic components, although they acknowledge that it can be limiting and leave out nuances.

Vicky mentions that her journey has been about finding like-minded people who share her interests, which led her to create a community on Discord.

Christin shares her own community called Kind Camp, where she facilitates internal learning through reflective writing and guided meditation, allowing participants to access their subconscious minds.

They discuss the importance of self-exploration and how it can take courage to do so, but it’s important to not let that fear stop them from seeking clarity on their personal mission or higher purpose.

Vicky just released her new course titled “Start Thinking in Frameworks in 15 Days.

Given the social platform upheaval, (Substack Notes and Blue Sky, anyone?) Vicky’s course is instrumental for going from info overwhelm to clear thinking. ##

Warm Wishes,

Christin

P.S. I’m thankful for for inspiring me to do some work/spiritual integration of my own with (messy, dusty, delicate) archeological digs of corporate experience. Check out this twitter thread where he presents his framework to help writers and creator orient themselves.

Behind-The-Scenes for Patrons

Below is where I jot hot-off-the-press, top-of-mind, vulnerable thinking for paid subscribers.

I am working on a “dharmology” paper for chaplaincy training, which is kind of like a positional paper/mission statement. It will get into why I am choosing to serve through this work/spiritual integration path, instead of a purely spiritual one.

It traces back to childhood poverty and resulting traumatic growth Seeing how my family’s struggle with financial and physical health prevent them from having the headspace to think about spiritual health. This drove me to be who I am now, yet I also want to provide reasonable paths for people to elevate their financial as well as spiritual well-being.

It would feel more comfortable for me to charge sustainably if what I am providing directly pertains to financial well-being (in addition to spiritual well-being.)
