Running Tips

This is a list of exercises I did when preparing for my half marathon in 2018. They were very helpful! Most if not all are from Coach Sage Canaday and Sandy on Youtube.

  • Heel kick
  • Do marching in place and with skipping
  • Do lunges
  • Focus on push off and kicking back
  • Practice running bare foot (but not all the time)
  • Practice doing speed runs for form
  • Do long runs of conversational pace
  • Keep elbows in
  • Work on the core

  • Stir the pot with exercise ball
